The publication of the Scaliger correspondence is an initiative of prof. Dr A. Grafton (Princeton University), and was directed by the London Warburg Institute. Since 2006, one of the members of the project, Dr D. van Miert has regularly worked in Leiden, and has enjoyed the Scaliger's hospitality. Several Leiden experts are part of the editorial board of the Scaliger correspondence project, including the Director of the Scaliger Institute.
