  • Your main service point for access to these collections is the University Library which is located just across the street of KITLV, at Witte Singel 27.The library is normally open seven days a week, on weekdays until midnight, see Opening hours. The KITLV library in Jakarta, Indonesia, is maintained.
  • Please note that in July and August our summer opening hours apply: weekdays from 8h30-18h00 and Saturdays from 13h00-17h00.

  • The KITLV collections can be found in the UBL Catalogue On the library website you can find tips for using the Catalogue. The KITLV catalogue (OPC) is no longer available. Via the KITLV website you are automatically directed to the UBL Catalogue.

  • If you prefer to search the KITLV collections only in the Catalogue: Click 'Leiden Collections' above the search bar. Next to the search bar you will see a dropdown menu to select a location, including the option: KITLV Collection.

  • If you have questions about using the UBL Catalogue: Ask your question here.

You will need a LU-Card (the Leiden University Card) to get access to the University Library and to check out materials.
