Photocopying, printing and scanning in the University Library (UB)

How and where to print, photocopy and scan in the UB

Printing

All workstations in the UB are connected to printers "P 100200-48" or "P 100200-49". For printing from your own laptop please consult the ISSC's online manuals.

Photocopying

Copy machines for photocopying in black and white on A4 or A3 paper size can be found at various locations in the library.

Scanning

There is one full colour flatbed scanner with pc available for general use. It can be found in the OLG reading room, on the right against the wall. Use of this scanner is free of charge. Please log in with your ULCN account and save your scans either on a USB-stick or on your students account.

One of the copy machines in the South Hall doubles as a (black & white) scanner. Scans can be saved on a USB-stick. These scans are charged as photocopies; you need a copy card to use the machine.

Payment

To be able to photocopy, print, or scan in black and white, you need a copy card (Xafax). These are available for sale at the machines in the South Hall, near the reception desk. The cards can be used within all buildings of the Faculty of Humanities (with the exception of the NINO) and at the Faculty of Law.
