- Catalogues in the Catalogue

- The Catalogue is the coordinating catalogue of Leiden University. Here you will find the title descriptions of books and e-books, journals and e-journals, letters, maps and other material held in the libraries of Leiden University. The collections of the ISIM, Museum Boerhaave and the NINO are also included.
Nog included in the Catalogue:- Articles from journals (consult Picarta).
- Manuscripts, archives and other special materials (partly available via Digital Special Collections and via printed catalogues).

- Sub-catalogues
- The Catalogue contains several sub-catalogues. Using these sub-catalogues, you can limit your search to a certain material type, collection or library.

- Some collections of scientific libraries in Leiden are not included in the Catalogue. Below you wil find links to these catalogues:
- Printed catalogues and card catalogues
- A small part of the material available at the Leiden university libraries has not yet been included in the Catalogue. It concerns mainly old material, such as early printed books, manuscripts and auction catalogues. For this material we advise you to consult one of the printed catalogues. A biography of these catalogues is available online.
