Leiden repository ranks high with online publications
- The Leiden repository makes publications of Leiden University authors digitally available. These publications are rapidly being made visible in specialist and general search engines such as Google and Yahoo. In 2007, the 10 000 Leiden publications that were available were downloaded 1.5 million times. The visibility and use of the articles, chapters, books and thesises increased strongly.

- In the first edition of the Directory of World Repositories the Leiden repository ranks #34 world-wide and is subsequently #1 of all Dutch repositories. The directory values the visibility and scientific content of the repositories.
