- The Vereniging van Vrienden van de Juridische Faculteit (VVJF) (Friends of the Faculty of Law) was originally an association of (former) staff members of the faculty that devoted themselves to the Leiden Legal Library. Since 2003 the association in fact does a great deal more. The facultity wants to maintain and tighten bonds with those who have studied or worked at the faculty. In this respect VVJF (merged with the association of alumni Van Rechtswege and in close co-operation with the Leids Universitair Fonds) seeks to develop into the association for people who were allied to the Leiden Faculty of Law.
Anually, VVJF organises an alumni day. This year it is 'Leiden Revisited'on Friday 21 September 2008. It is an afternoon with post-academic sessions followed by a buffet. Not only alumni, but also (former) staff and other involved in the faculty are welcomed to join the VVFJ as a member or as a guest on our alumni days.
