How to request an ISBN for your dissertation

Even if you publish your dissertation on your own, you can still see to it that it has an ISBN. An ISBN for your dissertation can be requested online at the Bureau ISBN, which coordinates the registration of Dutch ISBN’s. They have an online form for requesting an ISBN on their website (in Dutch only).
